About the Gazette
Garage Gazette is a fictional newspaper written for the motorcycle community. It reads like a small-town weekly that happens to be produced in the back of a shop, because that is exactly the joke: the tone is deadpan, the reporting is invented, and the affection for riders is genuine.
The humor points at the culture, not at the people in it. Nobody gets punched down at, no real brand or club is targeted, and no real event is ever reported on as if it happened.
How editions are published
- Every edition is numbered. Inserted editions use a dash: Volume 3-5 appears between Volumes 3 and 4. Published edition numbers and URLs never change.
- All scheduling and every published date is Arizona Time. Arizona does not observe daylight saving, so the clock never shifts under a scheduled edition.
- Once an edition is published, its address never changes. Archived editions stay readable at the same URL permanently.
What is real
Right now: nothing but the affection. When real, verified information does appear — events, dates, community happenings — it will be labeled as verified and kept visually separate from the satire. Anything unlabeled is fiction.
